What is Nature-Based Therapy?
Nature-based therapy sessions are conducted outdoors, such as in parks, forests, or gardens, instead of traditional indoor settings like offices or clinics. It is an evidence-based style of therapy that is clinically proven to promote mental well-being.

How Do Nature-Based Sessions Work?
First, we will meet remotely to discuss what you’re looking to work on in therapy and make sure we’re a good fit for each other. In future sessions, we will meet at a trail or park in the Denver metro area of your choosing! Nature will be incorporated into your therapy in myriad ways, that we can discuss together. Using an ecopsychological nature-based approach, we will invite the serenity of nature to aid in your healing.

What is Ecopsychology?
Ecopsychology is an interdisciplinary field that explores the psychological interdependence of humans and nature. Human health and wellness requires a balanced relationship with the ecological web of life we are embedded in on Earth. People have the innate desire to grow, change, and develop, just as nature does.
